We hope that you and your family are weathering the evolving COVid19
pandemic. Fortunately we are finally getting more useful information on this problem, however there is still very poor and misleading and contradicting reporting from most news media. We know that otherwise healthy people should tolerate infection, but that it is very troublesome to elderly and people with chronic diseases that especially lower or complicate immune responses (asthma, diabetes, chronic lung diseases, lupus, etc) THERE IS STILL NO VACCINE, AND TREATMENTS ARE EVOLVING. LOCAL EASY PUBLIC TESTING IS FINALLY BECOMING AVAILABLE. But generally people should not be overly fearful.
WE ARE SEEING PATIENTS AT OFFICE WITH PROCEDURES TO REDUCE EXPOSURE SUCH AS WAITING IN YOUR CAR/PARKING LOT
UNTIL CALLED TO GO DIRECTLY INTO EXAM ROOM AND USING MASKS TO REDUCE RESPIRATORY EXPOSURE.
YOU CAN KEEP UP WITH YOUR REGULAR HEALTH CARE WITH QUITE REASONABLE SAFETY.
WHEN YOU ARE OUT AND ABOUT, USING CONTACT AND RESPIRATORY PRECAUTIONS ARE EFFECTIVE ESPECIALLY WHEN IN SOME COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENTS WHERE PEOPLE ARE CLOSE AND THERE IS A LOT OF CONTACT, OR EXPOSURE TO COUGHING AND SNEEZING.
Providing we are all reasonably cautious, it is important to get back to work and normal life. This is basic to sustaining life and health.
WE WISH EVERYONE WELL, AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AT OUR OFFICE TO KEEEP UP ON YOUR HEALTHCARE NEEDS AND PREVENTIVE CARE!!
