Dr. Campbell has been providing reliable pediatric care for children from infancy to age 25 since 1978! He works with patients in Fulton, NY and across the Central New York area. Children, adolescents, and young adults are welcome at James J Campbell MD PC, where they will receive individualized, friendly care and where their needs always come first. We provide care in office, and Dr. Campbell is also active at Upstate, Golisano, and Crouse Irving hospitals.

Dr. Campbell
Dr. Campbell has been a leading medical practitioner to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in Oswego and Central New York at his office in Fulton since 1978. He is a graduate of the SUNY Upstate University Medical Center in Syracuse and completed his residency training in Pediatrics while there. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is on staff at the Crouse Irving and Golisano Children’s’ Hospital (SUNY University Hospital) in Syracuse. Dr. Campbell was an early practitioner of non-surgical Sports Medicine and provided leadership and services to USA Gymnastics, The United States Sports Acrobatics Federation, the Federation Internationale Sport Acrobatique, the New York State Empire State Games, and the United States Olympics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the Olympic Sports Medicine Society. Dr. Campbell lives in Oswego County and enjoys the outdoor amenities of New York and the world. He has grown children from coast to coast whom he adopted and/or mentored who are now starting families of their own.

Sheila Leotta, LPN
Sheila lives in Oswego and is very active with her family and her accomplished daughter.
Janice Lye
Janice has been our Office Manager since 1985! She is in charge of all aspects of office operations, especially everything having to do with insurance and billing issues. Should you have any questions about your insurance benefits, Janice can help you. She also handles any problems or complaints you may have in a professional and efficient manner.
Janice has three wonderful sons and one grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, travel and home improvement. She is also a certified Master Horticulturist. She enjoys her koi pond and beekeeping.
Jessica Allen
Jessica is one of our receptionists and is also a Nursing Assistant. She is one of the friendly faces that will greet you upon arrival at our office. Jessica will help you with scheduling the appropriate appointment. She also occasionally fills in for our regular nurse.
Jessica is a native of Fulton and lives in the area with her four children. She spends most of her spare time with her family and their many sports activities.
Kara Reed
Kara is a receptionist with an instant smile for you as you arrive or call. She can assist you with scheduling physicals or an appointment for a sick child. Kara can also answer some of your billing questions.
Kara is a lifetime resident of Fulton and lives in our community with her four children. She enjoys reading and fills her personal time with family and friends.
